Real Life Fact #1: I'm obsessed with chocolate.
Real Life Fact #2: People flip over these truffles.
Real Life Fact #3: I love baking, hence this whole blog thing.
Real Life Fact #4: I'm in a wedding this weekend and need to fit into my dress that I purposely ordered too small.
What does all this mean to you? You get delicious brownies inspired by the aforementioned truffles. What does it mean to me? That I love baking so much that I managed to make these AMAZING brownies, all while not having a single sample and sticking to my fruit-and-veggie only cleanse.
I'm pretty sure I'm a masochist. Damn that bridesmaid dress.....
I kinda feel like a bit of a hypocrite by posting something I haven't even tasted, but trust me- I had plenty of sample testers and they all went away extremely happy. Plus it's pretzels, peanut butter, and chocolate- how could it go wrong.

Pretzel-Peanut Butter Truffles
If you’re any sort of a regular reader of this epitome of dorkiness that is my blog, you know I love all things sweet. Cookies, cakes, brownies, ice cream. Game on.
What you won’t find here is a ton of snacks for the salt lovers of the earth. Well, feel left out no more. Hell, after these things, I might have to join you on the salt-lovers train. Ok, maybe not fully. I can’t give up my delicious delicious chocolate.
Which is why these truffles are the best of both worlds. A little sweet. A little salty. And absolutely amazing. I made them with every intention of bringing them into work. I think only half actually made it. The rest somehow just kept disappearing from my fridge….
These make a great addition to your Christmas cookie plate. Totally easy. Totally fantastic. People will love you and all will be great.
So what type of person are you- All sweet or a little bit salty?

Pretzel Bites
As you all know by now, I’m kinda chocolate obsessed. And by kinda, I mean I could be clinically diagnosed as a chocaholic.
I don’t even try to hide it. I have no shame. I regularly have chocolate chip oatmeal for breakfast. My afternoon snack? A granola bar with peanut butter and dark chocolate. My go-to after dinner treat- a couple Dove promises or Hershey kisses. When scanning for dessert recipe idea, the more chocolate involved the better. A chocolate chip cookie dough brownie? Count me in. You say it’s even better when served with chocolate ice cream? Even better.
However, today- Let’s go crazy. Instead of making this, this, or this, let’s make little pillows of soft pretzels. We’ll even make ‘em good and salty with a sprinkle of a bit of coarse salt. And as a bonus, there’s a warm, velvety cheese sauce too. Then let’s all curl up on my couch, pop in Bridesmaids (which I still have yet to see…..), and drown those little salted pillows in cheddary goodness. Sound like a plan? Awesome. See you at 7. Max will be there too (insert gratuitous puppy shot here)
