Green Smoothie

No. Please don't run away.  I swear I haven't gone crazy.  But you have to trust me. Deal?
I made health in a glass.  It's like super juice.  But I have a secret...

It actually tastes good.  Yes, there's spinach in it and it looks like grass. But there's also banana and peanut butter and oh-so-amazing vanilla almond milk.  All that awesomeness makes the spinach virtually invisible.
Well, that's a lie. You totes can see it. Just not taste it.  It's un-taste-able.

Adapted from this recipe

What You'll Need:
  • 1 Banana, sliced and frozen
  • 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 cup Vanilla Almond Milk (chocolate would also be amazing, but don't be scared of the final color of your smoothie)
  • 6 oz Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • Handful of Baby Spinach
What To Do:
  1. Throw everything in a blender or food processor and puree away.  Makes one large smoothie

  1. I LOVE this. I've been looking for a smoothie with raw spinach as I'd like to incorporate that more into my diet.

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog too!

    1. It really is fantastic. I grew up on peanut butter and banana sandwiches as a kid- I feel like this is a healthified version of my childhood :)

  2. Oh my goodness! I am on a juice cleanse right now and only drinking fruit and vegetable juices. I think this sounds great! I will try to juice the spinach instead of puree it. Thanks!
